Hridayanath N. Kunzru

Educated both in Agra and the London School of Economics, Kunzru joined the Servants of India Society and was elected life president in 1936. He was active in liberal politics, both in the United Provinces and in Delhi, and was one of the members of the Constituent Assembly. He served on several Commissions set up by the government and was a champion of the rights of minorities. He established the Indian Council of World Affairs. He was deeply interested in education and was actively associated with a number of educational committees.
